Participate in the fullness of God's love by praying for the deceased.

Holy Mass for the deceased

Benefactors and friends may request the celebration of masses for their deceased. The celebrations are free of charge. The voluntary donations, which are received with the order, are destined to the support of the cult and the temple.

How to pray for the deceased?

Intercessory prayer for the souls of the departed is a very ancient tradition. The Catholic Church has been doing it since the beginning of Christianity, as a sign of love for them. In this way we help them through prayer, almsgiving, the indulgences... And offering suffrages in their favor, especially the sacrifice of the Mass so that, purified by the goodness of God, they may come to see him face to face in Heaven.

A work of mercy

Through this work of mercy -By praying for the deceased, we facilitate their participation in the fullness of God's love, and it becomes a way of living the Communion of Saints. Our prayer can not only help them, but also makes their intercession effective for all of us.

The requests received are sent weekly to the Pontifical Basilica of San Miguel, in Madrid. Petitions are collected Monday through Sunday for transfer to the Basilica the following week.

*It is possible that some Eucharists cannot be rebroadcast because they are celebrated in the crypt where there is no transmission equipment.
