My name is Andrea Ding Yang and I am a priest of the Diocese of Chongqing, China. With your financial support I was able to study Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome.
Before arriving at the Eternal City I was teaching “Religious Dialogue” in the seminary of China. As a teacher, I saw the need for a deeper training of Theology in order to be able to teach better.
It is my pleasure to study in this city in spite of the difficulties that may arise for me; right now the Italian language is my greatest difficulty. When I studied in the Philippines I used English as a language; so Italian is something new, although I am making a lot of progress.
I saw the need for a deeper training of Theology in order to be able to teach better.
The rest of the priests who live with me at the Altomonte College are very kind and help me a lot with my Italian, for which I am very grateful.
To you, benefactors, I thank you for your generous contribution and the great help you give to the Church of China.
May the Lord bless you and Our Lady be with you.
Fr. Andrea Ding Yang
